School Libraries Network in Almuñecar launches ‘name and logo’ contest. The network is challenging students from Almuñécar and Valle Verde de Otívar to help create an identity for the new library cooperation group. Teachers responsible for the school libraries will collect students’ proposals by February 10. A committee in each educational, made up of a member of the management team, the teacher responsible for the school library and a student, will select two entries which the selected student will present before a judging panel on February 15. A jury, consisting of the libraries of all participating schools, the head of the municipal library, the head of the Provincial Library Network and the reference inspector of the educational area, will select the name of the winner taking into account: compliance with the objectives of the contest and creativity and originality. The entries must be original and unpublished, and only one per student. The Almuñécar Library Network was established last October under the motto “Sharing is growing”.
