Lorraine Kelly shows off Covid vaccination card revealing her real name.

THE popular TV presenter tweeted a photo of herself wearing a mask and holding her vaccination card to encourage others to get the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab.

And fans were quick to pick up on her true name – Lorraine Smith.

The photo was captioned: “Vaccinated! So relieved! Easy peasy – didn’t feel a thing – thanks so much to all the cheery volunteers and NHS staff who made it SO simple!! Please please get vaccinated!! We are so lucky to have the opportunity Xxx”

Social media users were surprised by the revelation with one tweeting “Lorraine Smith lol how original” to which the 61-year-old responded: “Smith is my married name.”

“I had no idea your current surname was Smith!! My full name is Lauren Kelly & I’ve been called Lorraine Kelly (or LK today!!!) my entire life, my partner’s surname is Smith so I may also end up a Smith one day. Twinning!” wrote another.

The star married TV cameraman Steve Smith in 1992 and the couple have a daughter, Rosie, who is mentioned regularly on Lorraine’s morning show.

And while many congratulated Lorraine on being vaccinated, writing: “Very well done” and “Great news,” others weren’t so impressed, with one tweeting: “It’s as if no-one has ever had an injection before Man facepalming. Well done you, but stop preaching to others when it is #MyBodyMyChoice.”
