Beautification in Nerja Ahead of Summer for Tourists and Residents
NERJA City Council is reinforcing the painting service with new hires from the job bank. The Nerja City Council have hired 12 new workers from the Job Bank to reinforce the painting service. Human Resources and Municipal Services Councils presented the proposal which was then approved by the local Government Board on April 8. Ángela Díaz, Councillor for Human Resources, explained: “in response to the needs raised by the municipal painting manager, 6 painters and 6 painting labourers will be hired from the Job Bank for three months, extendable for three more, and full time.” Gema García, The Councilor for Municipal Services, stressed that “it is necessary to hire these workers to reinforce the municipal painting service, which will allow us to carry out repair work and beautification improvements in different areas of the municipality of at the beginning of the summer season with the aim of improving the image of the municipality for the benefit of Nerjeños and tourists.” Source: Ayuntamiento de Nerja
