CAMPOTÉJAR Quad Bike Accident Leaves One Dead And One Injured In Granada The 112 Andalucía Emergency service, attached to the Council of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Board, on Saturday 10, deployed the Public Health Emergencies Company ambulance (EPES 061), and the Guardia Civil, to a location in Campotéjar, in the province of Granada. 112 had received an emergency call at around 11.40pm on the Saturday evening reporting an accident involving two young females who had been riding on a quad bike and who were in need of immediate medical assistance at the scene. The emergency services arrived promptly at the location of the accident, where it is reported that the two girls had been driving along a small lane in a field area and ended up crashing into the watercourse of a river, where a 17-year-old girl was sadly killed, and an 18-year-old girl had to be transferred to the Neurotraumatological hospital in Granada.
The Public Health Emergencies Company sent the Iznalloz emergency service to the site, to give assistance, and as a result of the accident, the Guardia Civil has started an investigation into the cause of the Campotéjar quad bike accident, as reported by juntadeandalucia.es.
