The emergency services arrived promptly at the location of the accident, where it is reported that the two girls had been driving along a small lane in a field area and ended up crashing into the watercourse of a river, where a 17-year-old girl was sadly killed, and an 18-year-old girl had to be transferred to the Neurotraumatological hospital in Granada.

The Public Health Emergencies Company sent the Iznalloz emergency service to the site, to give assistance, and as a result of the accident, the Guardia Civil has started an investigation into the cause of the Campotéjar quad bike accident, as reported by juntadeandalucia.es.
