In Torrevieja, on the Costa Blanca, a Ruta de la Tapa will be held from April 15 to April 18, and from April 22 to April 25, so locals and expats alike can try to local tapas.

During the event, four tapas and two drinks will cost €10. Find out more from Torrevieja Gastronomica on Facebook. A map with the participating bars and restaurants will be added soon.
The aim is to promote local food and give a much-needed boost to businesses in the area.
Organised by the Torrevieja Area Association of Catering and Hospitality Companies under the name ‘Nos vamos de Tapas’ (Let’s go for tapas) it is the sixth edition of the event which has become popular in the Vega Baja area.
All bars and restaurants will comply with health and safety regulations so there will not be passports to stamp but instead, clients will be given a ticket with each tapa which they can fill in with their personal data in order to enter the draw for four prizes.
Don’t miss out on this chance to try some of the local tapas while supporting Torrevieja businesses. If you want to know more about what ‘tapas’ are all about, read our article so you know what to expect.
