A 16-YEAR-OLD Scooter Rider Killed By A Vehicle On Zebra Crossing In Valdemoro, Madrid
The Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid, on Friday 16, deployed the Summa-112 Public Health Emergencies Company ambulance to a location in Valdemoro, in the city.
112 sources told Europa Press that they received a call from eyewitnesses at around 11pm, reporting that they had witnessed an accident involving a young boy riding a scooter, who had been hit by a vehicle on a pedestrian crossing on Avenida Mar Egeo, in Valdemoro.
Summa-112 health workers arrived at the scene of the accident and attempted to treat the 16-year-old boy, who as a result of the collision had entered cardio-respiratory arrest, applying cardio-pulmonary resuscitation manoeuvres on the boy but to no avail, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Valdemoro Local Police officers also arrived at the scene of the accident, and have opened an investigation to establish the circumstances and cause of the collision, as reported by okdiario.com.
