Announcing the new promotion Credit: Fuengirola Council
FUENGIROLA Council is launching a campaign to promote local commerce by offering consumers a chance to win a cheque allowing them to obtain goods worth €1,500. With the slogan ‘This spring in Fuengirola your purchases could win a prize’, Councillor Javier García Lara explained that “the idea arises after the good result of the campaign to promote local commerce that the council organised during Christmas, when more than 9,400 customers were given tickets to win a cruise by shopping locally at one of almost 400 establishments that took part.” The rules of this contest, can be viewed on www.fuengirola.org but in essence if you spend €20 or more on any product or service from anyone participating in the promotion, the establishment will issue a voucher entitling you to take part in the raffle. The promotion will run from May 15 to June 15 and the Council will collect all vouchers from each participating business and conduct the draw which will take place on June 30. Businesses which would like to be part of the event and are based in the municipality are invited to visit the Fuengirola Council website, email comercio@fuengirola.org or send a WhatsApp to 670 090 960.
