Work to improve the water supply in Nerja will begin the week of 31 May.
The Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, has reported that Work to improve the water supply on Calle Condal in Nerja will begin the week of 31 Maywill begin next week, with the renewal of 157 meters of pipe with a larger diameter and new connections to homes in a section of the street between its junction with Calle Puente del Miso and the existing roundabout in the middle of the road. “The work, which is expected to begin on Monday, May 31, will be carried out by the company Transportes Antelo S.L., who presented the best offer among the companies consulted. The works are expeced to last one month the budget alocated is 32,182.37 euros, which will be paid for with council funds “The councillor stated. Subsequently, the Nerja Town Hall’s Infrastructure Service will continue with the planned water upgrades, renovating the water distribution networks in the rest of Calle Condal as well as in Calle Coral, which will guarantee the provision of a quality service in the supply of water to the houses in phases 1 and 2 of the Condal Urbanisation.
