Football Shock As Player Dies In Tribute Match For His Deceased Brother.

The world of football has been left in shock after a player tragically died during the tribute match for his deceased brother.

The 29-year-old player tragically died during the middle of the football match. Giuseppe Perrino, was a talented footballer who tragically lost his life during the match which had been organised as a tribute to his brother who previously died, according to Cadena SER.

The shocking death happened in the Italian municipality of Poggiomarino which is located in the city of Naples. The footballer had been taking part in the match when he suddenly collapsed to the ground.

Emergency services quickly rushed to help him, sadly though they could not save his life.

Perrino had played for the Parma Calcio 1913 team and celebrations of the Italian Republic Day which were due to be held on June 2 were cancelled to show respect. The talented footballer had also been capped for Italy’s under 21’s although he went on to play for multiple clubs in Italy’s third and fourth divisions.

His brother had died back in 2018 when he had been cycling, and he also died suddenly.

Parma Calcio 1913 paid tribute to the footballer and commented that: “All of Parma Calcio 1913 joins in the sorrow to the Perrino family for the death of Giuseppe”, as reported La Voz de Almeria.
