In a bid to bolster the UK Prince William and Kate will reportedly spend more time in Scotland.

According to reports Prince William and Kate Middleton could help save the United Kingdom by spending more time in Scotland after their recent trip was considered to be a fantastic success.

People are now calling on them to spend more time in Scotland in a bid to help bolster the UK. According to the Sunday Times officials at the Palace hope that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall can become a symbol of the combined nations.

A Royal household source has commented on the situation and said that: “They think of it as their Union. It was originally a union of crowns. They think the politicians have been losing Scotland for them.

“What William is doing is a deliberately more muscular approach to the crown investing in the relationship with Scotland.”

What this could actually mean though is that both William and Kate would potentially spend additional time at Balmoral and that rather than it just being a place to visit, it could become closer to a second residency.

William spoke at the ceremony of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and commented that: “These people make Scotland the vibrant, friendly, innovative and determined place Catherine and I love, and is so important to us.”

He also went on to comment that: “I’m shaped by this place.

“The abiding affection I feel for it is rooted in my experience of its everyday life in people, relationships, and its ethic of neighbourliness.”
