Andalucia To Be First European Region With Vaccination Certificate Validated By The EU.
THE President of the community, Juanma Moreno, has announced that Andalucia will be the first European region to have a vaccination certificate validated by the EU. This comes as Spain opened up to international tourists on Monday, June 7.

Moreno made this announcement yesterday during his first public appearance after having now overcome Covid, at the presentation in Sevilla of the future Cartuja-Macarena hospital.
For the president, this validation of the EU to the vaccination certificate of Andalucia shows, without a doubt, that the job carried out was “well done” and that the work the regional administration has carried out is finally bearing fruit.
Moreno also stated that the forecast is that from Monday, June 7, people over 65 years of age will receive all the documentation related to the vaccination certificate by conventional mail, while the rest of the population will be able to access it through the Salud Andalucía app or through the ClicSalud + website of the Andalucian Health Service (SAS).
Apart from the vaccination certificate, there will be another document for people who have not been vaccinated for having had Covid in the last six months and who are in the situation of immunity which is gained by having passed the disease.
Likewise, a third card may be launched for ‘people free of Covid’, certifying through antigen tests or a PCR that they do not have the disease, and which will be especially useful to participate in certain activities or events.
These will be the ‘three categories’ that will exist, said the president, who has indicated that these three certificates will have, above all, viability for Andalucia in Spain and that with regard to international travel, it will be determined by the decisions adopted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the possibility of traveling to other countries.
