The robber of a Petrol Station in Ciudad Jardín arrested

Investigators have tracked down the whereabouts of the robber of a petrol station in Ciudad Jardín. The suspect, a 56-year-old Spanish national has been detained for his alleged involvement in a robbery with violence.
National Police officers in Malaga have detained a 56-year-old Spanish man on suspicion of robbing a petrol station in the Ciudad Jardin neighbourhood of the city.
The detectives have tracked down the whereabouts of the suspect in the robbery of a filling station in the northern section of the capital as part of Operation Loring, which is being carried out by the Robbery Group of the Malaga Provincial Police Station.
It is believed that the suspect entered the establishment and approached an attendant, intimidating him with a firearm, according to the investigations. He did not come away with any items.
The authorities were able to identify the offender after conducting a comprehensive investigation. While searching his residence, the authorities discovered a compressed air handgun as well as clothing that would link him in the heist at the petrol station. He was arrested on the spot. The facts have been brought to the attention of the judicial authorities.
