Revenge fight ends in stabbing in Almeria and one arrest.
Almeria Guardia civil officers have arrested a 39-year-old person for the stabbing of a 35-year-old victim during a fight in the Almeria municipality of Gador.
Guardia civil officers received a call from the 062 Almeria Communications Centre (C.O.S.) which alerted them to a fight which had broken out at a hotel in Gador, and that a person had been stabbed.
Guardia civil officers rushed to the scene of the stabbing and when they arrived they discovered the injured person was bleeding profusely after being stabbed in the thigh. They quickly sought to help the person and performed first aid measures including a tourniquet. Emergency medical services also attended the scene and took over the medical care.
Officers visually inspected the scene of the incident and interviewed witnesses. They then viewed the CCTV footage and performed an incident reconstruction. During the investigation they observed that the fight started inside the premises but then spilled outside. It was at this point the victim was stabbed in the thigh.
Officers were able to discover during the investigation that the fight broke out due to a previous fight where a relative of the arrested person had been injured.
The officers were able to determine who had committed the stabbing and were able to arrest that person.
