Police in Fuengirola find the lifeless body of a person on the Paseo Maritimo. Local Police in Fuengirola, Malaga, Spain have found the lifeless body of a person on the Paseo Maritimo. At this moment in time, there are no details of age, nationality, or sex of the person. The area has been extremely busy recently with visitors from all over Spain taking their annual holidays along with a spattering of UK and EU tourists. Holidaymakers in the Puerto Sol hotel, close to where the body was discovered, witnessed the scene as police threw a white sheet over the body at around 8.00 am this morning, Wednesday, August 18. The area has now been cordoned off as a small crowd of people started to gather, forensic officers, normally called in from Malaga, will no doubt be looking carefully for any evidence of how the person died. There are no further details available as yet but an update will be published as soon as any is available so please check back throughout the day.
