A COUPLE have got married in a wedding on a train from London Euston in the UK.

Rail enthusiasts Laura Dale and Jane Magnet got married in a wedding on a West Coast Main Line train after winning a competition in the UK.

The couple beat 150 other entries to have the wedding and were wed by train manager Peter Davis.

Joined by 18 guests, the couple later enjoyed a reception on the train.

AN ELDERLY man in Germany has been fined after the authorities found his stash of Second World War weapons.

The 84-year-old man is accused of possessing several weapons from the war and has been fined €250,000 and ordered to hand several of the weapons over to a museum or collector.

The authorities charged the man after finding the weapons during a search in 2015.

The researchers found that chimpanzees and bonobos have polite exchanges when coming into contact with other animals.

A new study published in iScience found that the animals, “frequently exchanged mutual gaze and communicative signals prior to and after engaging in joint activities.”

A CAT has assisted rescuers to find her 83-year-old owner after she fell into a stream in England.

The elderly woman had fallen feet and gone missing, sparking a hunt to find her before rescue workers were able to find her after her cat reportedly made sounds that showed them where its owner was.

The woman later received medical attention after rescue workers found her.
