New social emergency aid for school supplies in Nerja

The Governing Board in Nerja has approved a new call for municipal social emergency aid for families in need of aid for school supplies.


The Councillor for Education, Gema Laguna, informs that the Governing Board has approved a new call for municipal social emergency aid for vulnerable families in need of school supplies for the 21/22 academic year, endowed with 18,148.79 euros.
Laguna has highlighted that “the amounts of aid in this call have increased compared to last year. For primary, secondary and special education students, a redeemable voucher worth 70 euros will be delivered. For children, it will be 90 euros and for Baccalaureate and Training Cycles it will be 110 euros. In this way, we intend to continue helping the families of Nerja and Mare that have been hit hard by this health, social and economic crisis.
The deadline for submitting applications, both for families who want to apply for these grants and for businesses that wish to be suppliers of school supplies, will be 15 calendar days from the day after the publication of the announcement of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga. The Bases can be consulted on the Virtual Board of the Electronic Headquarters as well as in the National Subsidy Base.
With this new call for municipal aid for the payment of school supplies 21/22, measure number 7 of the socials is continued, included in the Municipal Shock Plan in the face of the coronavirus crisis, approved by the Popular Party, Citizens, Adelante and Vox, and the abstention of the PSOE.
