Wetherspoons boss and proud Brexit supporter Tim Martin has come under fire following beer shortages that have been caused by Brexit. One branch of Wetherspoons put a sign up saying that it has run out of Carling, Coors and Bud Light because of a shortage of delivery drivers and strikes.
One person posted a photo of the sign on Twitter which read: “We regret to inform you that we are out of stock of Carling, Coors and Bud Light. Due to supply issues regards to lack of lorry drivers and strike action which are out of our control.”
The image was accompanied by the caption: “It appears that #Brexit is screwing over Wetherspoons an’ all”.

A Wetherspoons spokesperson told The Mirror: “We are experiencing some supply problems with both Carling and Coors, which means that some pubs do not have the products available.
“We apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused. We know that the brewers are trying to resolve the issue.”
Tim Martin is a proud Brexiteer who was extremely outspoken about Britain leaving the single market, with his pubs even distributing pro-Brexit leaflets in the run-up to the referendum.
This hasn’t been forgotten about by Twitter users, with many mocking Martin because of the shortages caused by Brexit.
