The council said the elderly assistance will be offered in Velez Malaga. Councillor Perez and Councillor for New Technologies, Juan Carlos Muñoz presented the new services offered by the mobile application Gecor for the elderly. Councillor Perez said: “This is an extension of the Gecor application through a new service focused on the elderly in the municipality.” He added: “Within the Gecor application, which is very useful for different informative aspects in our municipality, we have created a section for the elders of the municipality. In it, you can learn about the… other services that exist in our municipality.” The councillor said: “This app will have a live chat for any queries or questions that the user may have from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm. We continue to improve the attention to our locals and especially to the elderly of the municipality.” Councillor Muñoz said: “We present the new module that can be used on the Gecor Velez Malaga app.” He added: “Accessing it our seniors will be able to find an area to learn about… the municipal centres.”
