Missing 15-year-old British schoolgirl discovered safe and well in Mallorca, after having been missing for around three weeks.
British schoolgirl Emina Ilora Alice Winterbottom has been discovered safe and well at the WiFi park in Mallorca’s Palma. She disappeared three weeks ago and she was found on Wednesday near to the Guardia civil’s headquarters.
She was found only hours after a missing persons alert was issued. The appeal by SOS Desaparecidos was deactivated on Thursday, September 23. Police had described her disappearance as ‘disturbing’, and were said to be investigating it with the highest priority.
The teen’s parents reported that she went missing on August 31. At the moment though, where she has been for the last three weeks remains a mystery.
Speaking to the Mail Online SOS Desaparecidos commented that: ‘Emina was located in good condition and her disappearance alert deactivated … She is safe and well.’
A spokesperson for the National Police in Mallorca explained that: ‘The girl that went missing in Mallorca was found on Wednesday afternoon and the search has been called.
‘Officers are still continuing to make inquires about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance but no arrests have been made in connection with this incident so far.’
Emina is said to attend the Escola Global international school in Mallorca, but is originally from Manchester.
