Russia plane crash kills at least 19 people in Tatarstan.

A shocking plane crash in Russia is feared to have left 19 paratroopers dead. According to reports three people have also been injured. The aircraft was said to have taken off with 23 people on board. The plane crashed in Russia’s Tatarstan, straight after it had taken off.

According to local media reports, 19 people are feared dead. The plane was a light engine L-410. The plane was reportedly being used to train paratroopers.

Witnesses reported that the plane had only just taken off before it crashed. Before the crash, the plane was allegedly seen flying low over some trees.

The paratroopers were being trained at the Menzelinsky flying club. A search and rescue operation is said to be underway.
