Piers spoke yesterday about his long COVID battle. He has been attempting to re-establish his “physical energy.” Piers has been battling with long COVID for around 12 weeks.

Piers shared a photo from Kensington Gardens and said: “The Physical Energy statue in Kensington Gardens… where ironically, I walk to most days to try to reestablish my physical energy after 12 weeks of very dreary long covid.”

Earlier in the day, he had caused fresh controversy as he wished his former Good Morning Britain co-star Laura Tobin a happy birthday. He used the birthday post to take a fresh swipe at Alex Beresford though.
