The luxury hotel, belonging to the Palladium group, will offer 93 rooms in the centre of Malaga on Alameda Principal. The Palladium Hotel Group is a 50-year-old Spanish hotel chain owned by Grupo Empresas Matutes (GEM), owned by Abel Matutes. The company has 48 hotels and more than 14,000 rooms in six countries, including Spain, Mexico, Italy and Brazil, and operates 10 brands, including TRS Hotels, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels and Ayre Hotels. The company´s new Malaga hotel will offer an informal restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, as well as a “more formal” restaurant on the seventh floor run by chef Pedro Hervas, who has designed a menu that pays special attention to local products. This space will have a terrace “with spectacular views” of the city. The hotel is the second five-star one in its chain and its rooms are spread over six floors in a relaxed Mediterranean style. It will also offer spacious rooms with panoramic views of Port of Malaga. Prices start from €250 per day for the hotel in Malaga.
