Meghan Markle’s dad slams ‘shameful’ Prince Harry.
Thomas Markle appeared on Good Morning Britain. He spoke to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid. He hit out at his daughter for having changed after meeting Harry. He also went on to slam “shameful” Harry for abandoning the “queen and the royal family.”
Meghan Markle’s dad believes it is time for her to ‘grow up, talk and makeup.” He says that she cut ties with the family and has not been in contact for nearly 4 years.
Thomas commented: “She has never been that way before but once she hooked up with Harry she changed.
“I understand she is with a different group of people – she has pretty much disowned both sides of her family.
“And I don’t understand the reason for it all.”
Thomas spoke of how he even considered legal action in a bid to see his grandchildren. He has never met Archie or Lilibet.
“I’m very concerned about that, I’d really love to see my grandchildren,” said Thomas.
“People in California have suggested I sue, but I think if I did I would be a hypocrite, I’d be doing the same thing that Harry and Megan are doing.
“I don’t want to include my grandchildren in this situation. I don’t want hostile parents and then seeing my grandchildren.
“I’ve been told by several lawyers that grandparents have sued to see their grandchildren and been successful but I’m not going to do that, I don’t want them to be pawns.”
He then went on to slam Harry. Thomas commented: “I think Harry has abandoned the queen and the royal family, the British people and the army, he’s abandoned them all.
“All he does now is ride a bicycle around the neighbourhood that he lives in. I don’t know if it’s much of a life for him either, doesn’t make sense.”
