A Place in the Sun host hits back at picky couple in Spain

A Place in the Sun host hits back at a picky couple in Spain. Ben Hillman had been doing his best to please the picky couple.

Host Ben was trying to find a perfect house in Spain for a couple who wanted to move from Weston-super-Mare. He was only given a £70,000 budget though. Every time he came up with a stunning property the couple found fault with it.

Sue and Ali wanted to find their perfect new home in Spain and looked at multiple properties during the show with Ben. Ben’s first property did not impress the couple as it had neighbours.

Sue commented: “I am not sure about the fact we have two sets of neighbours.”

Ben queried if this would be an issue. She simply came back with: “Could be.”

The first property was dismissed and Ben came up with another home to show them. This still did not meet all the requirements. The couple though did prefer it to the first property.

The show moved further inland to look at home number three which had plenty of land. This did not work for the couple either and they moved onto the next property which also did not meet expectations. This time Sue commented to Ben: “I just don’t like it.”

Ben finally hit back at the couple and said: “You’re hard work, what have I got to do?”

The fifth property finally ticked all the boxes and the couple made an offer. They went low though and offered only £60,000. The current owners soon shot this down wanting a better offer. Sue and Ali made a final offer, this time the offer was £64,000.

This did not please the current owners who decided to hold out for the full asking price.
