Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford quits weather role

Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford has quit his ITV weather role after 17 years.
After 17 years Alex Beresford has said goodbye to his weather role at ITV West Country. The forecaster announced his departure and said: “I will miss it”.
41-year-old Alex told ITV: “It’s been over a decade since I’ve been working across the region and it’s been the most amazing time,
“It’s been a special part of my life and I’m going to miss it. I’m a Bristol boy through and through.”
ITV West Country presenter Bob Crampton wished Alex well and said he: “just gets on with everyone”.
Bob added: “He gets on with people you meet in the street and gets on with people when you’re outside doing a live.
“Good luck Alex, I know you’re going to do particularly well.”
Alex is well known for co-hosting All Around the World and presenting the weather on Good Morning Britain.
He is sure to delight fans when he appears on ITV’s All Stars Musical. He will be showing off his voice on the ITV show.
