Body discovered next to a burnt out vehicle in Spain’s Cordoba.

The shocking discovery of a body next to a burnt out vehicle was made in Cordoba’s Rute, according to the 112 Andalucia emergency service, attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Junta de Andalucia. The car and the body were reportedly found on a path near the road.

The emergency services were alerted to the body on Tuesday evening, March 1. They received a call shortly before 10.30pm. The caller had said that a vehicle was on fire at kilometre 15 of the A-331, according to Europa Press.

The emergency services scrambled to the scene of the incident. The local police along with the Guardia Civil were activated. The Lucena Fire Brigade and paramedics were also called in.

The emergency services discovered a deceased person next to a burnt out vehicle when they arrived. No people were found inside the vehicle.

No further details have been released regarding the incident.
