Tragedy as a house blaze claims a young boy’s life in Spain’s Andalucia.

The shocking blaze occurred on Tuesday, March 1. The fire broke out at a house in Andalucia’s Almonte. According to Emergencies 112 Andalucia, a service attached to the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior of the Board, an eight-year-old boy lost his life in the fire. The fire happened in the town of Huelva.

The blaze broke out at a house in Calle Senda de los Tunos on Tuesday morning. Neighbours saw that a property was ablaze shortly before 1am. Smoke was also seen pouring from the home.

The emergency services swung into action. Firefighters from the Huelva Provincial Fire Consortium rushed to tackle the blaze. The scene of the fire was also attended by the Guardia Civil, the local police and medics from the Andalusian Health Service emergency services.

The body of the young boy was recovered by the firefighters. According to La Noncion, the boy had been trapped inside the property by the smoke.

Witnesses reported that two children along with one woman were able to make it out of the building alive. An investigation into the fire has been started.
