Covid numbers in Spain on Monday, March 7.
The Ministry of Health released the Covid numbers in Spain, this Thursday, March 3, with data provided by the autonomous communities. It shows that 23,140 new cases of coronavirus have been added, which brings the total number of people infected with Covid-19 to 11,078,028 since the start of the pandemic.
In the last 14 days, the accumulated incidence rate stands at 472.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to the 486.34 reported yesterday, Wednesday 2.
Another 202 deaths from Covid-19 have been registered, with 324 in the last seven days. This brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began in Spain, to 100,239 people.
There are currently 5,989 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain, with 890 in an ICU. In the last 24 hours, there have been 557 admissions, and 753 discharges. The capacity of beds occupied by coronavirus stands at 4.82 per cent, and in ICUs at 9.70 per cent, as reported by granadadigital.es.
