Ukraine warns ‘we are being destroyed.’ Russia’s attack on Ukraine continues. Leaders in the south of Ukraine have warned that: “we are being destroyed.”

Russian attacks are said to have wiped out power and water supplies in the south. As reported by Sky News, Ukraine’s Mariupol has seen its infrastructure targeted and hit hard. Russian attacks have prevented evacuations.

The city’s authorities commented: “They are breaking food supplies, setting us up in a blockade, as in the old Leningrad,”

“Deliberately, for seven days, they have been destroying the city’s critical life-support infrastructure. We have no light, water or heat again.”

On Thursday, March 3, Ukrainian officials confirmed that despite being surrounded by the Russian military the city was still under the control of Ukraine.

Elsewhere in Ukraine, mayor Igor Kolykhaev said that Russian forces have taken over the city of Kherson.

He stated: “I simply asked them [Russian forces] not to shoot at people,”

“We don’t have any Ukrainian forces in the city, only civilians and people here who want to LIVE.”

Commenting on the Russian attacks Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said: “They will not have calm here, they will not have food, they will not have one quiet moment.

“We are a people who broke the enemy’s plans in a week.

“These plans had taken years to write – they are mean, with hatred for our country, for our people.”
