Covid numbers in Spain on Monday, March 7.
The Ministry of Health has released the Covid numbers in Spain today, Friday, March 4, collected from the autonomous communities. Their report shows another 22,400 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded. Since the start of the pandemic in Spain, that brings the total number of people infected with Covid-19 to 11,100,428.
Today’s average accumulated incidence rate of infections in the last 14 days stands at 463.15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. That is compared to the figure of 472.15 reported yesterday, Thursday 3.
There are currently 5,693 patients admitted for Covid-19 throughout Spain, and 851 in an ICU. In the last 24 hours, there have been 510 admissions, and 751 discharges. The capacity of beds occupied by coronavirus patients stands at 4.59 per cent, and in ICUs at 9.31 per cent, as reported by granadadigital.es.
