A Place in the Sun filming thrown into chaos. Laura Hamilton has revealed that she cannot head to Spain.

Host Laura Hamilton has apologised after revealing that she cannot head into Spain for filming. Laura had been set to film A Place in the Sun. The 39-year-old host has been infected with COVID. Laura feels that she has let her colleagues down.

Laura took to Instagram to announce the news to her fans. She revealed a positive COVID test and posted her rapid test result. Along with the photo she said: “Was supposed to fly to Spain to film today! Sorry to let my team down @aplaceinthesun.”

Laura has been working with A Place in the Sun since 2011 according to The Sun.

The TV star recently announced her split from her husband Alex Goward. The pair have two children together.

Laura declared the surprise split on Instagram earlier this year. Laura revealed: “This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.”

She went on to add: “Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time.”

Laura added a poignant image which said: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
