Women in the History of Velez-Malaga

The Velez-Malaga Town Hall will commemorate International Women’s Day with theatrical tours called ‘Women in the History of Velez-Malaga’.

The Town Hall of Velez-Malaga has announced that one of its initiatives to mark International Women’s Day will be theatrical tours called ‘Women in the History of Velez-Malaga’. The tours aim to pay homage to and raise awareness about women who have been important in the history of Velez-Malaga, explained the local councillor for Social Rights and Equality, Víctor González, and the representative of La Casa de las Titas and promoter of the activity, Antonio Peña.

The activities will take place on March 12 at 11.00am and on March 19 at 7.00pm. The departure point for the tours will be Calle Félix Lomas, where the monument to María Zambrano is located.
