MARBELLA CHARITY WALK to raise funds for children with cancer in support of AVOI takes place on Saturday March 20 starting at the Plaza de la Fontanilla by De Bruno on the Paseo Maritimo.

This is the first red nose walk to be organised by AVOI (Association of Children’s Oncology Volunteers) which was founded in 1993 helping children at the Hospital Materno-Infantil who are suffering from cancer.

Some 170 volunteers carry out fun activities both in the hospital and outside and this promises to be a day that will be fun but also alerting everyone to the problems of child cancer.

It costs €8 for adults and €5 for those 14 and under and the registration includes sportsman insurance, gifts, raffle, live music and more surprises as well as a collection point for the delivery of humanitarian aid to be sent to Ukraine.

Pets are welcome to be part of the day and there is support from Palevlas Protectora de Animales, the animal charity in Monda.

This is a fun walk with the youngsters starting at 10am and adults at 11.30am but you must register in advance via http://www.dorsalchip.es/.
