Fatal crash leaves a young man dead and three injured in Spain’s Cordoba. The shocking accident took place between Lucena and Puente Genil in Cordoba on Thursday, March 17. The crash involved a car and a van on the A-318 road. According to the Emergency Services 112 in Andalucia, the fatal crash happened at around 7:30am near the village of Casatejada in Lucena. After the van and car collided at the kilometre 30 mark, the van was left in the middle of the road. The car left the road and ended up in a ditch. Officers from the Guardia Civil scrambled to the scene of the incident. The accident was also attended by 061 medical staff and the Lucena Fire Brigade. The Fire Brigade had to pull the deceased person’s body from the car. The road was closed while the accident was assessed.
