One dead after gunman opens fire in Walmart car park in Pennsylvania.

The shocking shooting took place shortly before 4pm local time on Saturday, March 19. One person died in the incident and another person is said to have been injured. The gunman opened fire at the Walmart car park in Wyomissing, according to the Reading Eagle.

Police rushed to the scene of the incident and placed the store in lockdown after the gunman opened fire. According to reports, victims were discovered in different areas of the car park.

Reportedly police officers have already arrested a suspect in the shooting. The person was detained by a Spring Township officer. The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

Speaking to WFMZ, Chief John Phillips of the Wyomissing Police commented: “What it looks like is this was a domestic-related incident.”
