The Cancer Care Foundation (CUDECA) treated a total of 73 patients in Rincon de la Victoria last year and continues to work in collaboration with the Town Hall.
On March 16, the Social Welfare Department of Rincon de la Victoria awarded a grant of 30,000 to the Cancer Care Foundation (CUDECA), which has cared for a total of 73 patients in the municipality over the last year and 723 since the service began.
CUDECA has various programmes that provide personalised and continuous care to patients, both in their own homes and at the CUDECA facilities. CUDECA’s teams are made up of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers and physiotherapists who specialise in palliative care and respond to each patient’s needs on an individual basis.
The second deputy mayor and councillor for Social Welfare of the Rincon Town Council, Elena Aguilar, thanked CUDECA for its “enormous effort and work over 20 years of service in the municipality”.
The head of Institutional Relations and CSR of CUDECA, Aurea Peralta, thanked the Social Welfare department for its constant support and the grant that will allow them to “provide the best palliative care to the citizens of Rincon de la Victoria”.
