BREAKING: Plane carrying 133 people crashes in China.

BREAKING – A devastating plane crash in rural China has been reported on Monday, March 21 –  the plane was carrying 133 people – the number of casualties is currently unknown.

A China Eastern Boeing 737-800 transporting 133 people passengers between the Chinese cities of Kunming (southwest) and Canton tragically crashed on March 21, as reported by state television CCTV.

Flight MU5735, which had taken off at 1.15 pm local time, crashed to the ground in the rural countryside near Wuzhou city, Guangxi region (south).

According to CCTV, rescue teams have been dispatched to the scene, while further details are being established and whether there have been any survivors.

A huge fire was reported “in the mountains” as a result of the crash, CCTV said.

Civil Aviation Administration of China has confirmed that the flight has crashed. There are 132 people on board, including 123 passengers and 9 crew members.

Unverified videos circulating on social media show the devastating scenes as a result of the crash, with fires now raging in the mountains as rescue teams raced to the crash site.
