The work included a pedestrian walkway equipped with accessibility requirements and also new lighting so that residents of the buildings in PAU 5 can reach the seafront of Playa de San Juan directly, without the need for detours.
The work took one month to complete after the €42,000 contract was awarded to Planificación Urbana y Paisajística, S.L.
However, Alicante Council has advised that the works completed do not form the whole project as a second phase of the works is still pending approval from the Regional Ministry of Territorial Policy.
The whole will be completed when the 1st half of the PAU 5 neighbourhood is linked with San Juan beach.
