A huge wildfire has broken out this afternoon, Saturday, August 13, reportedly in the vicinity of the ring road near the Alicante town of Guardamar del Segura on land alongside the N332. High temperatures, low humidity and strong winds are favouring the spread of the flames.
A video posted on Twitter by @Brave_spirit81 shows the extent of the blaze.

Another video of the fire was posted on Facebook by Fran Garcia, with one user commenting that they could see the smoke from the town of Quesdada, which is around 7km away from Guardamar.
