“Rear view fines”

Hello , I have to give my opinion re “rear view fines” as suggested by the DGT.

I have never heard anything so ridiculous! have these people nothing better to do?

After over 55years driving Cars , HGVs, motorhomes etc . many of which have no possibility of any rear view from an internal driving mirror, as long as the vehicle has a suitable wing or door mirrors, you have sufficient rear view to see the road behind you.

So are the DGT saying all these vehicles are a danger as they do not have an internal rear view mirror thus obstructed rear views??

It’s about time motorists now stood firm & made firm objections to some of the idiotic money making rules that are spoiling the joys of motoring. Bill

A message from a former resident of Rhodesia

As a former resident of Rhodesia (I left when it became Zimbabwe!) I am mortified that Spain will even offer 1 Euro of help to the government there! We fought to prevent those people taking over a beautiful and successful country, but the Russians influence over Harold Wilson etc., ruined that. We have been proven right by the way the two successive Zimbabwean governments since 1981 have destroyed practically everything by milking the system financially, putting unqualified relatives and friends in places of high office and “switching off” the infrastructure that maintained hospitals, schools, transport, power, water etc. The current president, the “Crocodile” Manangagwa, like Mugabe, goes nowhere without armed guards and takes expensive flights.

The country is not worth helping until these criminals are removed from office and a proper government installed with an opposition that can oppose rather than hide under the desks in fear of terrible reprisals!

Shame on you Spain for supporting a terrorist organisation in their total destruction of the country!

Brian, Costitx
