According to Emergencies 112 Andalucia, one person died in a traffic accident that occurred this morning, Sunday, September 25, on the MA-21, in the Malaga neighbourhood of Campamento Benitez.
Several witnesses reportedly alerted the 112 Emergency Telephone Number at around 11:30am, informing the operator of a vehicle that had overturned while driving on the MA-21 motorway, near Camp Benitez.
112 immediately deployed an ambulance with a medical team from the 061 Health Emergency Centre to the location. They also dispatched an appliance from Malaga Fire Brigade, as well as patrols from Malaga Local Police and the National Police.
On arrival at the scene of the accident, despite the best efforts of the operatives, nothing could be done to save the life of the driver who was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
