€945,000 has been invested in the project, and the construction works will take a period of 8 months, according to Pilar de la Horadada Town Hall.
The current pavilion is 22 years old and has become too small for the more than 500 people who practice sports daily at the Municipal Sports Centre facilities.
The work will bear in mind the urbanisation of the accesses to the back of the Sports Centre which will allow for a new space for running or hiking without the need to abandon the fenced perimeter of the sports complex.
