Grants for education for students in Castalla amount to a total of €46,500 euros in three different items for the 2021-2022 academic year.

These grants are divided between those for children in nursery school, those for university and training cycle students and, thirdly, those for the purchase of school materials for nursery school pupils, Castalla Town Hall confirmed on Thursday, September 29.

The subsidies for local elite sportsmen and sportswomen amount to €4,000.

The mayor of Castalla, Antonio Bernabeu, has highlighted the commitment of the government team to facilitate access to education for local children: “We support the students of our city in all its educational stages to facilitate access to quality education.”

The councillor for education, Roman Saez, confirmed that these are “grants that we provide every year as a sign of the commitment of this council to the education of our residents, covering the different stages of the education system.”
