Improvement works on Avenida Carlota Alessandri to be completed in three weeks

Among the works that have already been carried out is the replacement of the pavement, the improvement of accessibility, the preparation of conduits for traffic lights and street lighting and the creation of 20 new parking spaces.

The mayoress of Torremolinos, Margarita del Cid, visited the improvement works being carried out on the north pavement of Avenida Carlota Alessandri on Friday, October 7. 

The mayoress explained that “this was one of the first works put out to tender by this government team for an amount of just over €740,000 and we have already been able to replace the pavement and the channelling for traffic lights and street lighting has been prepared.”

“At the same time, encroachments on the public domain have been eliminated to create wider pavements and new car parks have been created.”

The mayoress added: “We are going to continue working in this area and in just two or three weeks this will be completely finished and all the people of Torremolinos will be able to enjoy it.”
