UPDATE 1.23 pm (November 30) – Gut-wrenching videos have emerged online of the aftermath of a blast at a religious school in Samangan, Afghanistan, which has killed dozens of people including several children.
According to reports from the country, at least 27 students (aged 9-15 years old) were killed and 30 others were wounded.
Afghanistan’s spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Abdul Nafee Takour, has reportedly said that the country’s intelligence and security forces were working to identify those behind the blast, which he described as an “unforgivable crime”, according to swn.af.
The news agency reported that no person or group had claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Shabnam Nasimi posted blurred footage of the school in which nearly 30 people lost their lives.
People commented on the post from the British politician.

ORIGINAL 11.51 am (November 30) – ACCORDING to early reports, a blast at a religious school in Samangan, Afghanistan has left dozens of people dead, as reported on Wednesday, November 30.
At least 15 people have been killed and more than 20 others hospitalised after an explosion at a religious school in Aybak in Afghanistan’s Samangan.
The blast took place in Jahdia seminary in Aybak city of Samangan, according to local reports.
TOLOnews reported that a provincial hospital doctor confirmed that at least 15 people had died and 27 were wounded.
The news outlet said that the blast occurred during afternoon prayers.
