A former beauty queen has been identified as the woman who suddenly collapsed and died at the stables owned by Michael Owens.
Jessica Walley collapsed on Tuesday, March 28, and could not be revived after medical services arrived on the scene.
According to the Sun, she used to work as a transport manager at the Manor House Stables located in Cheshire.
After her sudden death, Owen is said to have “broken down in tears”, as she used to work in the stables which are co-owned by him and his 19-year-old daughter.
Several people poured in tributes after her death as one of her friends said “It’s heartbreaking to hear Jess lost her life today at the tender age of 25”.
“She was riding out doing what she loved. We had so many great times working in Dubai”.
“May she rest in peace. Here’s her just 72 hours ago.”
A woman working at stables owned by former football star Michael Owen suddenly collapsed and died.
According to the police reports the incident happened at around 8.50 am on Tuesday, March 28 at the Manor House Stables in Malpas, Cheshire.
Shortly after she collapsed, emergency services arrived on the scene and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, as per a statement by Cheshire police, cited by the Sun.
The statement added, “the death is not being treated as suspicious and her next of kin have been informed”.
Following the incident, Manor House Stables posted a tweet and said, “It is with deep sadness that we have to announce that a much-valued member of our team died at work this morning.
“The family has been informed and both the family and the team at Manor House request privacy at this time.”
The stables where she died are training facilities that have been created by Owen along with his family.
Owen is a former football player from England, who has played for several famous teams including Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City.
He set the stables up in 2006.
