Pinkcoco

By day, a cosmetics store filled with makeup, jewellery and fragrances. By night, a tropical bar that serves some of the most delicious cocktails around. Pinkcoco on Calle de Santo Tome in Chueca transforms and comes to life after 6 p.m. to become a truly unique speakeasy venue with food, drinks and live music. At midnight, however, the special curse is reversed and the cosmetic store returns, leaving the morning passers-by none the wiser!

While Pinkcoco may be easy to find once the drinks start to flow in-store, Hemingway on Calle de Marqués de Casa Riera is anything but. One of the most fun things about speakeasy bars is the weird and wonderful ways in which you gain entry and this venue near Sol may be just one of a kind. Go into the Hotel NH Collection Suecia, through the toilets and you will find yourself in an early 1900s cocktail bar. The bar, nspired by writer Ernest Hemingway, who spent a lot of time in Madrid, offers a truly retro nightlife experience.
