Geordie Shore exploded onto our screens back in 2011, as it followed a group of young and fake tanned adults on their quest to drink as much alcohol as possible whilst wearing extremely tight and skimpy clothes. They also put these men and women, from Newcastle, UK, in the same house to live for weeks on end, with hilarious if not dramatic and dangerous, consequences.
Gary Beadle was known on the show simply as ‘Gaz’ and caused a frenzy in young women immediately after his appearance in the first episode. Newcastle native, Sophie Taylor, aged 31 recalled to Euro Weekly News that she and her roommates even had a poster of Mr Beadle topless displayed in their University dorm. “Aye he was well fit though wasn’t he like”, she then declared.
After years of his ‘frolicking’ being televised to millions of viewers, Gaz finally met ‘the one’, model Emma McVey, and decided to put his playboy years behind him and settle down, even quitting the hit show to live with her and start a family. They got married and had two children together, a boy, Chester, and a girl, Primrose. Following their social media they seemed to be nothing short of the perfect family.
However, just yesterday Gary announced on his Instagram story that the couple have separated, stating that they were “still friends” but that they “both deserve to be happy as well as being parents”.
Since the announcement, many devastated fans have taken to their comment section to express their upset on the split, and questioning whether the once wild Geordie will now be returning to the show. Howay man!
