Magic Festival

ON November 11 and 12 the beautiful Teatro Romea in Murcia City will host Murcia’s Festival of Magic. This festival will include around twenty different shows from illusionists to magicians. Cheese and Beer

ON Saturday, November 4, La Aljorra will celebrate its fifth Beer and Cheese Fair. From 11 am until 11 pm you can try the traditional gourmet cheese and beer market. There will also be activities for all the family to enjoy like bouncy castles and live music and shows.

Legend of Lucius

DISCOVER the ‘Legend of Lucius’ Horror Passage at the Archaeological Museum Los Baños in Alhama de Murcia this Halloween week. On October 28 and 29, the museum transforms into Lucius’ tomb, an ancient Roman emperor who sought immortality through Alhama’s thermal waters. Tickets are €5, with €1 donated to AECC, available at the museum.

DUI Crash

A driver in San Javier crashed their car while four times over the legal alcohol limit and without insurance. The incident occurred in Santiago de La Ribera, resulting in only property damage. The driver now faces charges related to road safety.

Passblue

CARTAGENA introduces groundbreaking technology in its traffic signals, enhancing the mobility and safety of visually impaired individuals. This system, known as Passblue, activates only when needed, reducing unnecessary noise pollution. To find out more about this technology see the Cartagena City Hall social media pages.

Crane Incident

THE 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Centre responded to a workplace accident. A crane had overturned, injuring a 45-year-old man. Semi-conscious and lying on the ground, he was quickly assisted by local police and a medical team. He was then transported to Murcia’s Reina Sofía Hospital with leg injuries and a minor head injury.
