If you´re facing difficulties paying your rent, you may be entitled to benefits from the Valencian Government.

There are numerous subsidies available, granted by the Department of Housing and Bioclimatic Architecture, to registered residents with low income.

According to the Spanish government, an income is considered low when the economic capacity of the individual is at least €10 less than the monthly amount guaranteed by the minimum vital income. The minimum income can be calculated according to each household here.

For seniors

50 per cent of the total rental price can be funded for all residents of 65 years and older, living on a low income.

For young people

50 per cent and more is granted to people under 35 years of age, on a low income.

For the vulnerable

The amount granted to the vulnerable depends on the household situation, including age and the number of family members, and can be provided to victims of gender violence, people with disabilities and homeless people.

All applications should be made through the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat Valenciana with proof of income, rental contract and DNI/NIE.
